Here I am going to list few of the natural tips which we all probably know but don't follow and hence is the problem ...
So if we can try to incorporate these important tips in our daily routine ,we all will have a very healthy ,glowing and young looking skin.

1) Resist yourself to have very hot shower, as it tend to take away the natural oil from our skin layer leaving it dry and sensitive.
So no matter how much you love hot, steamy and long shower ,try to make it short and use warm or cool water instead .

2) How you dry your skin does affect the skin layer,so try to use soft cotton cloth to dry your skin and instead of rubbing the skin with harsh strokes, pat dry it gently.

3) Use natural soap less cleanser when you shower, something like homemade scrub,or at least try to use gentle soaps that are free of fragrance.Additional perfumes, deodorant or even antibacterial can be harsh on skin.

4. Specially in summer - use broad-spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen year-round and dress appropriately. As staying in sun long time can be a main causes behind dry skin, wrinkles, and roughness.

5) How you apply the moisturiser is important step in controlling dry skin - the ideal way to apply moisturiser is when the skin is still a bit wet.So as soon as you come out of shower apply a generous amount of good quality natural, herbal cream or oil.The pores of the skin are still open when it is wet and that's the right time to provide nourishment to your skin not when it is completely dried out .

6) Mental, physical and emotional stress can cause damage to our skin so try to have holistic approach for these underlying conditions.

7)Sluggish lever function can contribute to increase toxins in body which eventually shows up on the skin in the form of break outs like eczema, dry skin, dermatitis many more to add on to this list .
So change your way of eating if you are one of those who loves oily ,spicy junk food

8) Eat warm, fresh and Nutritional food which consists of all groups like vegetables, fruits, carbohydrates, cereals, milk and milk products. Include food which is rich in anti oxidants like carrots ..

9) Stay hydrated throughout the day, by seeping warm water or ginger tea ( it is good for increased Vata ) it keeps the skin well nourished and less dry.
